New Years Resolutions:

Image
Hey you lovely lot! Merry Christmas and a happy new year! I hope you all had the best day on the 25th and got every present you wished for, and even eating all the goods... especially pigs in blankets. I'm currently sat here writing this in my new teddy bedding and throw eating all the chocolate I can consume because I need to eat it before I start my diet on January first, we shall see how long that lasts. I thought I'd make this post all about my new years resolutions, I have a few but not that many. I think every year I never keep to them and really I should. So this time I'm going to try to keep to them. First of all, eat healthy and go to the gym more ... At the start of uni, I joined the gym and went at least twice a week and then came a week off where I went home and I never got back into it and I feel like I've gained so much weight. So in effect when I go back to uni I'm going to eat a lot more healthy and exercise again. It

Back home for Christmas...

Hey Guys! This is a little different kind of blog post today. More of an update and what I'm up too. Normally I post every Wednesday, but I kind of slipped up this week due to being home and it's been one mega busy week! Let me update you :) First of all, on Wednesday last week my gorgeous new little sweet face was born, the new edition to our family, my nephew Cole. He quickly stole all of our hearts with his little face. I honestly love him so much, its a love like no other... him and my other beautiful nephew and niece. So, for the majority of last weekend I was getting so many cuddles... just look at his toes!! Other than cooing over the little prince, I had my gorgeous niece over for a sleepover and we had the best time, I've not seen her in so long because of being at uni and I miss her so much. She's growing up so much and time is flying by. Then came a massive deadline that will make or break if I get into my second year of my course at uni, so

Stepping out of your comfort zone:

Hi, Hi, I hope you are all doing well.  Recently I purchased an orange denim jacket and honestly it's such a big step out of my comfort zone but I absolutely love it. This post is all about how to combat that voice in the back of your head telling you to stick to the neutral colours and instead to just step out of your comfort zone, not just in the clothes department but also makeup and speaking confidently. Being your own person is a big thing for me because I have often not been the person who steps out of her comfort zone because I find it so hard. I often feel like people are looking at me and judging me or thinking I look weird in a certain outfit.  Well recently I have stepped out of my comfort zone and I feel like I should give you guys some advice on how to get out there and live your life to the fullest. I still lack confidence but in some ways my confidence has flourished since being at uni. So, first of all, the orange denim jacket... I

My university room tour:

Hey you lovely bunch, I'm aware that I have a few new readers that have joined since my last uni blog post. Welcome!! I hope you enjoy my posts and you can get something out of them! On todays blog post, I am going to be talking all about my uni flat and I'll give you a lil tour of my room. Overall living in student accommodation isn't all that bad, even if it was a little difficult when I first came here due to a few situations with the flat as a whole... someone flooded my room *insert angry emoji* I mean it eventually settled down and I'm happy where I'm currently at. Living away from home is tricky due to being away from your family and not just that but you have this immense sense of loneliness because you can't go downstairs and sit with your mum and watch the soaps or have a general chit chat with her... you're in your flat on your own. This to me meant that it was essential to make my room feel just like my room at home. I wa

My favourite beauty must haves:

Hey lovelies, I thought I would share with you my favourite beauty must haves. These are some of my forever favourite beauty products, that I've grabbed from my makeup collection to share with you, you will probably recognise a few.  I wasn’t sure how to phrase this post, really, I just wanted to chat about a couple of favourites of mine. Mac lipsticks are my all time favourite lippy to wear, especially this shade - Mehr. its an absolute DREAM. I honestly can not get enough. It's the perfect matte lipstick and they only tend to dry out little amounts so the creaminess lasts. It's also long lasting without the fade which means I only really have to reapply the product twice a day! It also goes really nicely with the Naked Cherry eyeshadow. Another fave of mine is this shade... Dance with me. This is a retro matte liquid lip colour which dries on the lip and leaves such a beautiful autumnal shade. This looks amazing with the Naked Cherry palette by Urban Decay.
