Autumn favourites: Plans, Foods, Books and Films

Image
Hey everyone,  How are you all? Life has been busy the last couple of weeks but I have loved the change in weather and the new season. I am absolutely loving autumn this year and thought on today's post I would share all of my favourite things about the season! First up is... plans and adventures: Autumn walks have been one of my favourite hobbies during the season so far. I have loved the fresh air, the company and the scenery. The leaves are the prettiest colours and all crunchy. Trips to the garden centre are now easily one of my favourite things to do. Me and mum took a trip to our local garden centre last week and it was amazing. All the little plants, gifts, the food market. So lovely! Coffee shops. This is perfect for relaxing and reading my current read. Coffee shops are even better after looking in a bookshop and then going for a sit down and festive coffee with company; mum or friend. Food and Drink: PUMPKIN SPICE LATTE... that's all I have to say! This is my favourit...

Week in Outfits: Uni Edition:

Image
Hey you gorgeous bunch, I'm back with another blog post this evening, exciting right? haha. I really wanted to show you my outfits for uni this last couple of weeks because I know a lot of people have gone back to uni or are just starting out and I love seeing videos and posts like this! So here goes, my week in uni outfits! DAY ONE: The Monday outfit: Putting a bit of effort into your appearance: I don't often go for this look because, one, its not always the most comfortable look because of the denim skirt and tights situation but, two, I have to get out of bed earlier and who wants to do that as a uni student haha. However, at least once or twice a week I really like to put some effort in with my appearance in regards to wearing a skirt or dress because it makes me feel more body confident and happy and also I have weekly news days so I like to put some effort in and go for a professional sorta look.  ...

What I do whilst on a plane:

Image
Long flights or flights in general can get boring if you don't have anything to do. I often, however, take way too much stuff in my carry on bag that it becomes impossible to get bored on a flight. There are many things you can do to keep yourself entertained whilst on the plane. I find it so uncomfortable to nap on a plane, my neck feels awkward on the seat and even rested on the side of the plane if I'm in a window seat. So I rarely nap on a flight. So what do I do instead... READ: I love reading a good book, this is the main thing I do when I'm away on holiday. I always take two books and I always finish them both. I think this is such a handy tip. I know a lot of my friends are not into reading much but even if you pick up a couple of magazines before you head away, I think it's so worth it.  It's also nice to escape into another reality whilst being on the flight, if you're surrounded by annoying things, you can just get lost ...

What's in my travel bag?

Image
It's almost time for me to jet set away to Tenerife with my family and I am so EXCITED! I love travelling, so much so I've already been looking for next summer! It's always been a goal of mine to travel write, being able to travel the world and write about it... yesss please. So anyway, I thought I would share with you all what I take in my hand luggage/carry-on bag for plane rides. I find going to the airport and being on the plane one of the most exciting parts about going away, I'm such a travel nerd! I often take a backpack with me as my travel bag because it's easy carry as it has two straps and its so convenient for space and fits underneath the seat in front of you. Sometimes I take a bag but it often hurts my shoulder so much due to the weight... I'm most probably taking too many books and magazines haha. These are quite small pockets at the side and I probably would put a bottle of water in the pocket but seeing as you cant take liquids thro...

TV series I've been loving...

Image
Am I the only one who is obsessed with tv series? Nope probably not, but omg I absolutely love series. Honestly, if I could lounge in my living room or in my bed and watch the TV I would, I'm the queen of being lazy! There has been so many good series out at the minute, but also old classics that I reckon I will love forever. So on this blog post I thought I'd share my current favourites! Jane the Virgin will forever now be one of my favourite TV shows. I didn't give it a chance when it first came out because I didn't think it was anything I would be interested in. But let me tell you. When I started university in September and I'd already re-watched Gossip Girl twice, I needed something new to watch and this is perfect! I fell in love with this show as soon as I watched episode one. Try this out, if you're uncertain go for it because now I'm absolutely gutted that this is the last season. Dead to me is another new favourite of min...
