Hey! I've not been on here for about a week and I think a well needed update post about my life at the minute is needed... So year one at university is finally over and of course I have absolutely loved it but it's been one hell of a long and busy year, both emotionally and academically.  I've had so many assignments, exams, essays, open exams, more assignments and even going out and learning skills I've never attempted before all in one year and let me tell you it's been tiring.  At the start of the uni year I found it hard to be away from home and away from my family, every now and then I'd stay away from home for a couple of weeks and after a while I realised that I'm not the type of person who can stay away from home, being able to go home on Friday and go back to uni on a Monday night was exactly what I needed.  I'm a very home kind of girl and being able to head home on the train and spend my time with my parents and get a hug fr...

It takes you on such a journey from start to end! Before writing my review I wanted to see what others thought of the movie and I was shocked to see that many in fact didn't like Burton's remake of the 1941 original Disney classic. Well my opinion is entirely different. When I first heard that Tim Burton was creating Dumbo I was a little shocked as on screen his film making is normally much more spooky. With creations like Edward Scissorhands and Beetlejuice, I didn't know whether his take on dumbo would be effective. However, his style of production is just right for Dumbo. Dumbo is a story of a loving baby oddity elephant, who like other of Burton's characters, is welcomed, humiliated and oppressed by the society around him. Hey all,  Welcome back to the blog! I hope your Sunday is chilled and not gloomy because work, school, college and uni start again tomorrow!  To make us all feel a little better about Monday I thought I'd share with you some of my most favourite places to go! Just some little recommendations on where you can travel next... First of all, Manchester.  This is like a second home to me seeing as I live in Bolton, so I visit quite frequently. Some of my family lives there and it's such an amazing city. Filled with so many close net people who celebrate events and come together as a community. Manchester is home to the most amazing Christmas markets which if you ever get the chance you must go too and it's also home to the worker bee, our cities symbol.
