It's almost time for me to jet set away to Tenerife with my family and I am so EXCITED! I love travelling, so much so I've already been looking for next summer! It's always been a goal of mine to travel write, being able to travel the world and write about it... yesss please. So anyway, I thought I would share with you all what I take in my hand luggage/carry-on bag for plane rides. I find going to the airport and being on the plane one of the most exciting parts about going away, I'm such a travel nerd! I often take a backpack with me as my travel bag because it's easy carry as it has two straps and its so convenient for space and fits underneath the seat in front of you. Sometimes I take a bag but it often hurts my shoulder so much due to the weight... I'm most probably taking too many books and magazines haha. These are quite small pockets at the side and I probably would put a bottle of water in the pocket but seeing as you cant take liquids thro...

Hello! Hope you're doing well! For today's post I thought I would mix it up a little. The Chilled Playlist - this is one that I often listen to when I'm in the bath, relaxing with a face-mask on, or feeling like I need a breather! When I need to relax but also feel in the mood for a little sing along! I bloody love it, I hope you do too... Each of these songs have a different meaning to me. I love Shawn Mendes for one, he's literally my future husband... sorry Ben haha. Any song from A Star is Born is a hit for me... I love that playlist so much, could listen to it for hours! Tom Walker and Lewis Capaldi have become some of my favourite artists recently, their voices and songs are amazing. One Direction forever yeah? haha, Louis you were always my favourite. Lukas Graham's new song Love Someone is probs my current favourite song! George Ezra always brings out the best songs... he's my dad's favourite. James Arthur is like Adele, an absolute cla...

(Image created by Al_HikesAZ, from Flickr) I went to see Dumbo in the cinema on Tuesday and I have to say that it is now possibly my new favourite Disney film. It takes you on such a journey from start to end! Before writing my review I wanted to see what others thought of the movie and I was shocked to see that many in fact didn't like Burton's remake of the 1941 original Disney classic. Well my opinion is entirely different. When I first heard that Tim Burton was creating Dumbo I was a little shocked as on screen his film making is normally much more spooky. With creations like Edward Scissorhands and Beetlejuice, I didn't know whether his take on dumbo would be effective. However, his style of production is just right for Dumbo. Dumbo is a story of a loving baby oddity elephant, who like other of Burton's characters, is welcomed, humiliated and oppressed by the society around him. Reach new heights with these #Dumbo inspired posters by artists @j...

It's been a long while since I did a beauty post so I thought I'd update you on my most recent love of hand creams and moisturisers!!  I've never been a person who ventures into buying hand creams and moisturisers, I've always used other random beauty products but never ventured out of my comfort zone. Recently one of my friends at uni told me about The Body Shop hand creams and I just had to venture out there and give them a go... so here we are, my new found obsession.  I think my favourite scent from their hand cream collection is the coconut one for sure, this literally reminds me of holidays. I am also crushing over the strawberry scented one it's so nice! Let's talk about how handy it is... The size of the bottle is perfect for travelling, with it only being 30ml, I can put this in my travel bag so my hands stay nice and moisturised when I get on a plane that sucks all the moister out of you! Also it is the perfect handbag size. It...

Hey you beautiful bunch, I've missed writing frequently but I've had serious writers block and so many exams that I've needed to revise for! No excuse I know!! Anyway, todays post is all about getting out of the house in this glorious weather and exploring places when the sun is shining! 1: The Park: I love going to the park with the family or even friends and having a cute picnic, eating all the good foods and simply enjoying life. including feeding the ducks and getting an ice cream from the cafe, Fredrick's ice cream is the best!! It's a dream when the sun is out and I loveeeee visiting places like this. A little stroll, a chill on the picnic blanket and soaking up all the sun. My fave park at the minute is Avenham Park in Preston, such a pretty place! 2: The Garden: I know this sounds silly, but the best times are ones spent with your family in the garden. We make so many memories during spring and summer just by being in the garden, havi...

Do you ever get such holiday blues from a previous trip? I went to Amsterdam two years ago yesterday and I'm having such nostalgic feels. Amsterdam is definitely a place I need to go back to, whether it is staying in the same hotel or eating at the same restaurants. There are so many more things and places I want to explore! So this is a little nostalgic post about Amsterdam; all the places I visited, where I stayed, what food I ate and all the beautiful houses... The Hotel: When we decided on the place we wanted to stay at, we wanted something cheap and cheerful. Hotel Espresso was so close to Dam Square which was great because all the touristy locations and shops were in the centre so it made it so convenient. The hotel itself was so nice! The family room was such a great size, really comfortable beds and a mirror on the wall. Also the bathroom had a really nice shower. Also as an added extra, in the lobby area they offered free coffee and tea and if you wanted th...

Heyy, how are you? I've not posted in a while, as I said in my previous post I've been going through a tough time, which isn't any excuse but I've been keeping busy and getting on with uni. However, I'm back! This week's blog post is all about the last week of my life, all the things I have been up too, all the exciting adventures I've been on. just a general chat and catch up. So, first of all most of the last week has been consumed by uni and lectures and lots of work to complete. In three weeks time I sit my media law exam and in just over two weeks I complete my shorthand exam, scary times and this year has flown by! But yes, lots of revision and homework and so so many assignments that are happening all at the same time.  I've also spent every weekend at home to be with my family. Which I wouldn't do often because normally I would spend every other weekend at my flat to get work done, but its almost the end of the year. I wa...

Helloooo again you lovely bunch, It's been one of those weeks where life is just crap. Someone dear to me passed away on Friday and it's been a struggle. However, yesterday I got all my glow gear on and celebrated with my godmother and mum for Dementia at Media City, what an amazing night.  First of all we started the night off with a cheeky trip to Nando's and on the tram two lovely people sponsored us for our walk. Of course I had my usual lemon and herb wrap with fries and garlic bread with some amazing perinaise sauce. We sat and glowed ourselves up in the middle of Nando's - cracking all the glow sticks and I'm not going to lie we got some really funny looks.  I wore a bright pink tutu and leg warmers with glitter all over my face, such a funny yet outgoing outfit, it was great.  We then made our way to the Piazza where we met up with lots of other inspirational walkers, we wrote a little note and attached it to the memory tree.  ...
